Denavir which you should apply after every two hours in the affected area for four days and the cold sore will be cured
Acyclovir which is available both in cream as well as in tablet forms. While the cream is used by the adults the tablets are given to the children for healing
Famvir or Famciclovir is another drug available in tablet format and to get cured from cold sores you need to take 1500 mg from the very first day of having the infection.
Another drug that can help you in getting cured quickly from cold sore is Valacyclovir or Valtrex. The amount you need is 2 gm twice a day for better results.
