Symptoms of Cold Sore

The cold sores or fever blisters are extremely painful and usually last for 10 to 15 days. However, its severity can be easily reduced if treated in the early stage. In fact, you may even stop its appearance with the proven cold sore cures.

The following are some common cold sore symptoms:

  • Blisters with high temperature or fever.
  • Sore throat with fever.
  • The small children usually drool more.

The cold sores are mainly caused by the highly contagious herpes virus. Though the first attack is usually very severe, you may also experience later outbreaks. These later outbreaks of lip sore and fever bristles are often caused due to stress, exposure to sunlight especially to the lips, infections such as a cold or flu, fatigue, a food allergy or even poor immune system.

Apart from using cold sore medicine and other home remedies you can also apply SPF
30 on your lips to avoid the occurrence of lip sores. Moreover, a proper diet along with adequate sleep is also necessary to keep away fever bristles.
